Halloween & More
So I went to Keimland on Saturday. I forgot my camera, so no photos (sadness). It was completely awesome! I'd say around three hundred people were there at any one point in time, with a bunch leaving and more coming in all the time. It was really awesome.
I skipped the CincyUpdate meeting last night even though I really wanted to go.
Trelan came over tonight (Halloween) and we passed out candy and stuff to the mean-spirited local children (friggin' kids don't even say thank you unless you accost them to do so). We had some hearty laughs at adult-oriented jokes we uttered to the children while no one was around. We ended up watching Napoleon Dynamite, which Trelan had not yet seen. During the course of this, I found a complete scene on the DVD after the credits. The extra scene was pretty interesting and included Kip and Lafawnduh getting married which lasted several minutes. I was so excited. We also spent some time reminiscing about the years we went to Lakota, even though we didn't even know of each other's existence back then. :P
CincyUpdate and Bar Louie are co-sponsoring an awesome happy hour event this Thursday at 6 p.m. at Newport on the Levee. It showcases 10 beers for $10 and looks to be really awesome. A bunch of friends have said they'll show. I'll send a reminder out tomorrow to everyone. If you ride TANK (Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky) you'll get a ticket for a free appetizer. Seems like a good deal to me.
I'll be there, you should come too.
I ran out of Flickr bandwidth again. So I have to wait to upload shots Stephanie and I took a few weekends ago at Spring Grove, and the shots from last Spring at Purgatory with Tila Tequila. Also, I have to wait to post some shots of Leslie & Christopher. I may have more, we'll see. Todd and I have spoken a few times about getting out to Athens and up to Jefferson (both in Ohio) to do some photo stuff and follow up on my familial history sites. That will likely kill bandwidth as well. I'm also hoping to get out to Philadelphia to spend some time with Amanda and maybe check up on Jenni (who moved to Philly in September).
Tired now. Heading to bed. Hopefully, I'll post again in the next couple of days.
