Nope, this is not another rant on the Inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States. And no, it’s not another fashion laden rant on Michelle Obama’s style or fashion sense.

Instead, I bring you the first post here on Tea Guy! Tea is a many splendored thing. You can drink tea with most any meal. It has a plethora of health benefits, thousands of flavors and is the second most consumed beverage in the world behind… water!

Join me in my quest to spread the knowledge of tea while also expanding my own! I’ll primarily be covering the following:

Types of tea (White, Green, Black, Oolong, Herbal, Floral, Teasane, Pu’erh, Rooibos)

Origins of tea (tea history)

Tea culture (British, Japanese, Chinese, African)

Specific tea blends (Many brands exist, some blend better than others)

Look for me to post Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. In so doing I’ll provide you with a growing wealth of knowledge on tea and tea related products!

Most Mondays will be posts where I rate a teahouse or tea blender/brand. Mondays will also be used for other forms of alternative posts such as pairing, cupping, interviews, product reviews, culture articles and discussion about a specific type of tea!

Wednesdays and Fridays will be days where I review a specific blend by a blender or brand.
