We all think of green tea as having less caffeine. This is because it’s usually compared to coffee. In reality, green tea has plenty of caffeine for normal individuals looking for a sunstainable energy lift.
The “Shots” cans are small, perhaps half the size of a regular size Red Bull. Stylishly designed and colorful they’re likely to catch your eye.
The color of the Green tea in this ‘shot’ is a very light but bright yellow-green.
The aroma is robust and vegetal. Clearly pungent smells of light spinach and some grassiness come through nicely.
This tea, however, is not particularly bold, in no small part due to the chilled nature of the beverage. The flavor remains vegetal like spinach or fermented greens and grassy. The finish is satisfying with a wonderful tail.
Those who do not like strong teas should avoid ITO EN’s shots. Alternatively, those who enjoy Japanese Shinchas or Banchas will absolutely love this ready to drink tea from ITO EN.!
