Nick Lachey, Dancing, Photos, Women, Reds Fest 2006 and more!
Yesterday Leslie and I ate lunch at Palomino downtown and while there Nick Lacheycame in. I spoke with him briefly to give him props on a great job singing the national anthem prior to the Bengals game on Thursday night. I merely offered the props, shook his hand and we left. I don't like to be flashy or bothersome by taking photos or asking for autographs.
I have been dancing four times in the past three weeks. It's fantastic. My knee still hurts from four weeks ago (when some idiot stepped into it), but every time I go out it gets a little better. I enjoy the dancing a lot. But I have to either find a looser pair of jeans or always wear dress pants as currently all my jeans restrict my flexibility in motion which makes my movements MUCH more conservative.
I haven't taken any photos for a while. Look for plenty from San Francisco upon my return from the golden city. I have a full-plated itinerary while I am out there so I have no excuses for not taking photos everywhere I go.
This reminds me that I need to pick up a basic tripod before I leave.
All kinds of women recently. Several from while I have been out dancing. After subscribing to David DeAngelo's "Interviews with Dating Gurus" series I have built a stronger and much more effective Confidence in myself. The series really just looks to make the point that understanding the opposite sex is something that is learned and that dating is the practice of doing that. And practice makes perfect ... yeah? It's a good series, I recommend looking into it.
I went to Reds Fest 2006 yesterday and will return today as well. I have a NEED to pick up the Chiquita fruit girl.
We took a Polaroid together last night. I hope to get one using my camera tonight. I paid just $10 for a Reds ballcap that's fitted and was dipped in Makers Markwax! Also, I'm getting my name on a batch of Maker Mark! How awesome is that?
Also at Reds Fest was a concert with a bunch of local bands including Freekbass, The Screaming Mimesand Bronson Arroyo's band. They also introduced the new uniform look for the 2007 season and the typeface they're using is unique and exclusive to the Reds developed with MLB for the express use of the Reds.
The Bengals SPANKED the Ravens on Thursday 13 to 7. The Bengals had shut out the Cleveland Browns last Sunday and almost shut out the Ravens on Thursday (on a short week) until the Ravens scored a TD in the last 1:01 left in the game when Tory James slipped on the slick field while trying to cover his man. Both teams endured some pretty bad calls during the game and I am most overjoyed that the Bengals came out victorious!
Now, if you don't mind I need to take the rest of my time to pack, reduce the music on my iPod, get a haircut, buy a tripod for my camera, and eat something.
